Description
• Create engineering documents using computer aided design (CAD) technology, utilizing Autodesk AutoCAD software (2D and 3D applications)
• Understand scope of project information to determine design basis, CAD requirements, and other guidelines for the project. After requirements are determined, set-up CAD model files and quality control measures as related to client CAD standards.
• Make corrections and produce preliminary and final documents for engineer’s final review/approval, after receiving instruction from the Manager or Project Engineer
• Check for integration of sections and coordination of disciplines. Work with architects and engineers to resolve document coordination and production problems.
• Develop maneuvering plans using software.
• Develop Road profiles, corridors, cross sections using civil 3D.
• Develop road marking and signage plans.
• Develop design of civil systems including underground utilities, paving, grading and drainage for projects
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed shop drawings, joinery drawings, and as-built drawings for interior fit-out projects.
Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements and deliverables.
Produce accurate and high-quality 2D and 3D drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or 3D Max.
Ensure all drawings comply with UAE/GCC building regulations and standards.
Create detailed drawings for ceilings, partitions, carpentry, flooring, and other fit-out elements.
Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to clarify design details and resolve technical issues.
Update and revise drawings based on site changes or client feedback.
Maintain organized records of all drawings and project documentation.
Assist in the preparation of material schedules and BOQs (Bills of Quantities).
Ensure all work is completed within project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Fit-Out Draftsman

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D), Revit, SketchUp, or 3D Max.
Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials (e.g., wood, glass, metal, laminates, etc.).

Soft Skills:
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in joinery drafting and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment).
Knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) coordination in fit-out projects.
Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes.
