Description: Anesthesia technicians support anesthesiologists and other anesthesiology staff by preparing equipment and patients, maintaining supplies, and assisting with procedures:
Equipment preparation
Anesthesia technicians prepare the operating room, equipment, and patient for the anesthesiologist. They ensure that the anesthesia machine is functioning properly and that there are adequate supplies of medical oxygen, nitrous oxide, and air.

Requirements: Associate degree in Anesthesia Technology or related field
Certification as a Certified Anesthesia Technician (CAT) from the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists (ASATT)
Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
Ability to lift and move heavy medical equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
