- The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring a clean, orderly, and inviting environment for clients and staff. This role involves supervising the housekeeping team, managing schedules, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.o Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
o Place orders for cleaning supplies and ensure they are stored and used efficiently.
o Maintain records of cleaning products used and report any issues with inventory to the Manager Create and manage work schedules, always ensuring adequate staffing levels.
o Coordinate with other departments to accommodate special cleaning requests or urgent situations. Prepare and submit reports on housekeeping activities, including staff performance, inventory levels, and maintenance needs. Prepare invoices. Make sure all Job Orders are completed on time. Collection is done on time. Follow up on payments. Assist in budgeting and cost control for the housekeeping department. Participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations for housekeeping staff. o This job description outlines the primary duties and responsibilities of the Housekeeping Supervisor. Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role
Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations
Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products
Excellent organizational and team management skills
Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
High school diploma is a plus
