- The Senior AutoCAD Draftsman is responsible for producing high-quality detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD and related design software. The role involves interpreting architectural and engineering plans, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring that drawings comply with industry standards, project specifications, and company practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, sections, and elevations using AutoCAD and other design software.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and other team members to develop accurate drawings.
Modify and revise drawings based on feedback or design changes.
Ensure that all drawings are prepared in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Maintain and organize drawing files, revisions, and documentation.
Mentor and supervise junior draftsmen, providing guidance and quality control.
Attend project meetings and provide technical input as required.
Coordinate with site teams to resolve drawing-related issues during project execution.
Prepare detailed shop drawings for fabrication and installation purposes.
- Requirements
- Experience: 3 years minimum
