Description: ENT surgeons, also known as otorhinolaryngologists or otolaryngologists, diagnose, evaluate and manage diseases of the head and neck. They specialize in managing patients with diseases affecting the senses such as hearing, balance, smell and taste, as well as problems with breathing, swallowing, and voice. ENT doctors perform cosmetic and reconstructive surgery and often use powerful microscopes to operate on some of the most delicate structures in the body. They remove polyps, repair cleft palates, perform rhinoplasty to change the appearance or function of the nose, and remove and examine tumors for cancer.

Requirements: A medical degree.
Must have completed an otolaryngology residency.
Must have a medical license.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Perfect vision and visuospatial awareness.
Good organizational ability.
The ability to work well alone and within a team.
