Description: We are seeking a skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our team and play a crucial role in transcribing audio files and Physician notes into written documents for our health record system. As a Medical Transcriptionist, your primary responsibility will be to accurately transcribe dictated notes using various speech recognition software.

Additionally, you may assist in entering medical reports into our electronic health care record system as required.

Collaborating closely with Physicians and other medical professionals, you will ensure the efficient transcription of notes and voice recordings to support our organization’s operations.

Requirements: Proven work experience as a Biochemist or similar role
Familiarity with laboratory testing, data recording practices and safety procedures
Strong understanding of scientific concepts and biological processes
Ability to train, motivate, coach and lead a team of other researchers and research assistants
Excellent problem solving, verbal and written communication, project and resource management and computer skills
Bachelor’s degree in biology or chemistry is preferred
