Description: Microbiologists typically do the following: Plan and conduct complex research projects, such as improving sterilization procedures or developing new drugs to combat infectious diseases. Perform laboratory experiments that are used in the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses.

Requirements: • Bachelors degree in Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Sciences, or a related field. Masters or Ph.D. is advantageous.
• Relevant experience as a Microbiologist in a medical laboratory setting, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of microbiological techniques, clinical specimen analysis, and identification methods.
• Understanding of medical microbiology, infectious diseases, and pathogenic microorganisms.
• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient samples and laboratory procedures.
• Effective communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of quality control and quality assurance practices in medical microbiology.
• Adherence to laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
• Problem-solving skills for interpreting complex laboratory results.
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and data management.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages such as Arabic is beneficial
