DEFINITION. Under general supervision, provides lead direction to a group of storekeepers who are engaged in receiving, storing and issuing materials, supplies, parts, tools and equipment and maintaining accurate records pertaining to stores transactions; performs related work as assigned.

To plan, direct, and coordinate the overall activities of a departmental/divisional storeroom or warehouse; and to perform related work as required. Positions in this class are allocated to varied County departments or divisions with storeroom(s) or warehouse operations.
